Annual Lecture 2009

British and French military intelligence in Syria and Palestine, 1914-18. Myths and Reality

We are delighted to report that this year’s Annual Lecture is to be given by Professor Roger Owen of Harvard University.

The lecture will be followed by the presentation of the BRISMES Award for Services to Middle Eastern Studies which this year goes to Professor Owen.

Following the presentation there will be an informal reception (drinks and nibbles) from around 7.30 pm.
