BRISMES Membership

Categories of membership are as follows:

Fellows (Full Members)

Membership in this category is open to those professionally and/or personally concerned with the MENA region and international relations. Fellows vote to elect (and are eligible to become) the Society's Vice-President, Executive Director and Treasurer. They also elect and are eligible to become members of the Council (trustees).

Student Members

Membership in this category is open to students. 

4. Corporate Members

Membership category is open to organisations interested in the Middle East.

* This amount is reduced to £100 for those paying by standing order or based overseas

Special rate £80 (reduced to £70 for those paying by standing order or based overseas) is available to anyone over the current state pension age and no longer in full time employment. Similarly, anyone who has been unemployed for a period of more than six months may benefit from this reduced rate, until such time as they find gainful employment.

*  Special rate £30

Upon graduation, for a period of two years, former student members may benefit from a reduced rate of £30.

BRISMES is a recognised charitable body. All subscriptions are therefore tax deductible. An individual's annual subscription rate is reduced to £100.00 for Fellows if paid by bank standing order. Subscriptions are due on 1st January each year. Members joining after 1st January will have their membership back-dated from 1st January and publications sent for that year unless they request that the subscription start from the following year.
