BRISMES Membership

There are three categories of membership open to individuals and one category open to institutions. These are as follows:

1. Fellows (Full Members)

Membership in this category is open to those professionally concerned with Middle Eastern studies and international relations.

2. Associate Members

Membership in this category is open to other persons interested in the Middle East, including retired people and the unwaged.

3. Student Members

Membership in this category shall be open to students.

4. Corporate Members

Membership category is open to organisations interested in the Middle East.

BRISMES is a recognised charitable body. All subscriptions are therefore tax deductible. An individual's annual subscription rate is reduced to £100.00 for Fellows and £75.00 for Associates if paid by bank standing order. Subscriptions are due on 1st January each year. Members joining after 1st January will have their membership back-dated from 1st January and publications sent for that year unless they request that the subscription start from the following year.
