Biography
My current and my PhD work focused on the creation of Palestinian citizenship during the interwar era, and the implications of this on Arabs outside of and inside Palestine.
Research description
My work focuses on the creation of nationality and citizenship in a colonial, interwar context in Palestine and the implications of this on native Palestinian Arabs who lived outside of Palestine. I also work on the identity of refugees and migrants who moved to Palestine from the late 19th c. through to 1948.
