Biography
Nadi Abusaada is a first year PhD Candidate in Architecture, and a Cambridge Trust Scholar, at the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research in the Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge. He holds an M.Phil. (Distinction) in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge, and an Honours B.A. (High Distinction) in Architecture from the University of Toronto in Canada.
Research description
Nadi's current research focuses on the transformation of Palestinian cities, as seen in relation to their Eastern Mediterranean context, through the advent of modern urban planning and changing state-city relations under late Ottoman and British Mandate rules (late 19th and early 20th centuries).
