Biography
Seyed Ali Alavi is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of International Politics at SOAS, University of London. He holds a PhD in International Politics from the Department of Politics & International Studies, SOAS, University of London. His doctoral thesis is entitled 'Iran's Relations with Palestine'. He completed his Masters degree in Middle East Politics at SOAS, University of London and his undergraduate studies in International Politics of Europe and America in London. Ali also holds BSc degree in Agricultural-genetic Engineering. His interest lies in the area of International Politics of the Middle East and Europe. He participates in media interviews on current affairs. Ali is working on the role of IR theories with main focus on the West Asia. He speaks Farsi, Arabic, Kurdish, and Azerbaijani with some understanding in Czech and Russian.
