BRISMES
The 2020 BRISMES Annual Lecture will be given by Dr Ziba Mir-Hosseini. The provisional title of the lecture is 'Recovering Gender Equality in Islam: Conversations with Reformist Thinkers'. Dr Ziba Mir-Hosseini is a legal anthropologist, specializing in Islamic law, gender and Islamic feminism, and a founding member of the Musawah Global Movement for Equality and Justice in the Muslim Family. Currently she is Professorial Research Associate at the Centre for Islamic and Middle Eastern Law, SOAS, University of London.
