Asma Abdi

Asma Abdi is a lecturer in Middle East Politics and International Relations at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. Her research and teaching focus on the intersection of global political economy, feminist theory, and post/decolonial approaches. Specifically, she is interested in understanding how global political economy processes shape everyday gendered patterns of labour, social reproduction and survival in the Middle East.
